Hardee's Night March Bike Ride & Tour -- Our ride will begin at Historic Oakland Cemetery and end at in East Atlanta Village. Our 10-mile ride will re-trace the overnight trek (known as "Hardee's Night March") taken by 17,000–18,000 Confederate soldiers on July 21, 1864, led by Lieutenant General William J. Hardee, that culminated in the opening attack in the Battle of Atlanta.

  • 1100, Ride begins

ABOUT THESE RIDES

  • Second Sunday bike rides around Atlanta
  • 10 -15-mile rides that explore the many neighborhoods of Atlanta
  • Each ride will be different
  • Each ride will have a different starting and ending location
IMPORTANT
  • These rides are for experienced riders only. You must be confident and comfortable riding in traffic.
  • Most of the ride will take place on paved surfaces but, at times, we will go off-road.
  • These is a bike tour; we will be making stops along the way.
  • Members go for free.
