This 20-mile bike adventure will take us through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods and parks in Atlanta. The ride begins and ends at the Carter Center. The route will take us north along the Eastside Trail and Piedmont Park Promenade. We then head east, through Morningside, on our way to and through the Emory campus. From there, we head north through the Lullwater Preserve area (around Candler Lake) and then east up to Mason Mill Park. At that point, which is about mid-way through the ride, we turn south, riding through Medlock Park on our way to the Agnes Scott campus. From there, we head west along College Avenue and north along the Olmsted Linear Park as we make our way back to the Carter Center. There will be an optional lunch at New Realm Brewing after the ride. You can expect to have fun and meet some nice people. You will also learn some interesting things and get some exercise.
